Last Friday, I had the lucky job of attending the 24 Hours of Flickr book release party in Montreal. First, I have to say, Montreal is really spectacular. If you’ve never been there, make sure to put it on your list of places to visit. If not for the food and architecture, go for the extremely nice people.
I had a really wonderful time meeting Flickr members from all over Canada. Frankly, I’ve never seen so many cameras in one room. Everyone had great ideas for making Blurb books, from general portfolio books, gift books for friends and family to Flickr set contact sheets, and especially collaborative books with other Flickr members. Also, thanks to Heather Champ, and the rest of the Yahoo! team. The party was a huge success.
My only regret was leaving early on Sunday morning which means I missed a few of the Quebec National Day parties that were surely to continue through Sunday night. Here are some links to a few of my favorite Flickr photosets from the party:
Merci beaucoup, Flickr et Montreal!
