Golden Gate Park looked more like Jurassic Park. The fog was thick and clung to the ground. The air was hot and damp making droplets fall from the ginormous fern-like plants along the route. There were no velociraptors, but there were belly dancers, people passing out popsicles, and the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.

This was the San Francisco AIDS Walk. Blurb’s team raised a total of $1,110 for the cause. Over 25,000 people came out to walk 10 kilometers and raise money for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and other worthy organizations that provide HIV/AIDS services to those in need. Over $4,503,716 was raised in total.

Thanks to everyone who supported us and the cause. As much as we hope for a cure, if there’s a walk, we’ll be there.
