SF to Paris in Two Minutes from Beep Show on Vimeo.

It’s the middle of the week and who couldn’t use a little escape? Here’s one that you can enjoy without leaving your home, desk, heck, maybe even your iPhone. Check out the video above by Nate Bolt.

Nate set up his camera and tripod while jet bound from San Francisco to Paris. He used a Canon 5D Mark II, a 16-35mm lens, a tripod, and an intervalometer. The camera snapped a photo every 2-30 seconds throughout the 11-hour flight to capture an image about every two miles of the journey.

Luckily for Nate (and for us), the plane flew on a night where the aurora borealis was visible. It also didn’t hurt that he had a row of seats to himself. Thanks to Gizmodo and PetaPixel for turning us on to this great video. Now if we could just fly to Paris for real…
