UPDATE: The webinar date has been moved to August 6, 2009 and an additional session has been added! To register for the 1 PM EDT webinar click here, and for the 3 PM EDT webinar click here.

We’re teaming up with the folks at X-Rite for a free webinar on Thursday, July 23, to help you achieve accurate and consistent color reproduction of your photos. The webinar will start off on the topic of monitors, how to make your display perform and if it’s time for an upgrade. Then using both hardware and software, you’ll be guided through calibrating and profiling your monitor, plus how to deal with color spaces, conversions and profiles in Adobe Photoshop.

  1. Suggestion: Can you implement a SEARCH feature so that when I am
looking for a photo to import into my book, and I know the file name, I
can enter part or all of the file name in a search field and the photo will
    be found….. ?

  2. Great to see more Webinars!
(Though your software time for my part of the world doesn’t tally with own poor arithmetic from World Time Clock.)
Suggestion: Excellent to see choice of time but why so close in the early hours of the morning? One day we’ll convince Americans on the Internet that there are several other people/places in the world :-) From that point of view it’s excellent to see that unlike so many your Registration doesn’t fail for lack of US State code, allowing “Other”. Thank-you!
    Really looking forward to it.
    Much appreciated,
    P :-)

  3. What’s the use when blurb doesn’t support a color managed workflow and doesn’t have a color managed workflow?

  5. Hi will you archive the webinar? I’m very interesting in this subject but the time is weird to me as it’s 2am/4am in HK and it’s impossible for me to join

  6. I don’t see how all these webinars will help for the situation when one time Blurb prints perfect colors and the other (when I order few copies) the colors are simply terrible and shift to dark blue.

I did everything right, I ordered one proof copy to see how it works. What kind of software can tell me how Blurb is going to print next copies?
