I’m disappointed. This morning I tried to register for the Melbourne Meet-up. After 10 goes I was told the EventBrite system was down, I finally got on to register and found that it was sold out. Is this a fault with there system. Also is another Meet-up planned for Melbourne.
Awesome! Can’t wait :)
EventBrite’s system must have cleared, I was able to book, so all’s fine.
Oy! What happened to New Zealand? :-)
So I guess there aren’t many Blurbites in Brisbane?
J
Hi,
Please please could you come to Brisbane as well! I’m sure there are Blurb book makers here – you should setup an evening here.
Fingers crossed.
Jasper
Hi Ian -
So sorry you ran into problems with Eventbrite – we found out today that they had a major site outage that caused issues with registering for events. Thanks so much for your patience and can’t wait to see you at the event!
Yes – Brisbane! Please add brisbane to your tour…
Jane
PLEASE COME TO BRISBANE!!!!
come on!
PLEASE!
I am representing few youngsters from Croatia with question: do you ship to Croatia?
Another question: is it enough to send PDF of book for competition, or do we have to order at least one printed book?
Thnx!
Barbara
A Brisbane meet up is a must!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey, don’t worry about Brisbane!!! WHAT ABOUT COMING TO PERTH!!!
cheers
Here I am in the West – Melbourne meet booked out! Help!!
Am I the only Western Australia Blurbite.
We have fantastic beaches, hundreds of coffee cafes – not to mention wine bars and photo opportunities. What are you waiting for?
If you can’t do that – what about Paris or London in August 09 – I will be there collecting photo’s for my next Blurb book.
Darn … I only just found this blog post – I first got news of this event from the email with subject “Blurb’s Coming to Australia!” from blurb@email.blurb.com on the 30th but for some reason all of the links on it were dead! (The links were all of the form http://links.mkt2330.com/ctt?kn=31&m= and it seems the server at links.mkt2330.com just wasn’t talking to anyone) … for some reason this blog post didn’t show up when I searched “blurb australia” on the Blurb site search engine a week or so ago to see if I could find more info that didn’t involve going through links.mkt2330.com (I only found out about it because of a cross link from another forum) and of course by now the Sydney event is all booked out. :-(
Maybe next time can I suggest the marketing emails perhaps be sent with a link to a “if you cannot view this email” page (which actually links to a page back at Blurb that is accessible by everyone – such as this blog post – and not to some tracking server with a pile of random characters that can break without anyone noticing)? I realise this means you potentially lose tracking data but it is slightly frustrating when a problem like this happens.
Went to the Sydney meet-up last night and it was so good to been Robin and meet other people making books. This is what I love about the Blurb community.. that there is one!
Hey, What about Adelaide
