We’re hosting the Blurb Photography Book Workshop series this June, featuring photographer Dan Milnor, graphic designer Bob Aufuldish, and Lightroom guru Jerry Courvoisier. In these 4-hour workshops you’ll learn about the principals of book design, editing your images in Lightroom for optimum results, and how to use Blurb books to promote your work.
You can also participate in a photography book review prior to the workshop, but it isn’t a requirement to attend the workshops.
Photography book reviews begin at 4:00 pm; the workshop kicks off at 6:00 pm (expect it to last until about 10:00 pm). Cost to attend is $49 for the workshop, and $79 including the photography book review.
Here are the dates and locations – click through to RSVP:
Big thanks to the Blurb Photography Book Workshops sponsor X-Rite!

These workshops sound great! How about one in Houston, Texas? I know plenty of people who would be interested…thanks
Hi Heidi -
No plans for one in Houston yet, but we’ll add it to our list of potential places!
How about a Webinar?
How about adding a SF workshop during the early afternoon? Some of us old retired people can’t get to the city and stay up that late, too! We’d have to get a hotel room, and that’s too expensive. I bet you’d get plenty of us for a 1PM – 5Pm workshop!
Do you have definitive plans for more workshops this year? Denver would be a great choice as it’s a hub for us in hard to reach spots (e.g., Montana). Thx
Any chance one coming to LA?
Would absolutely love to attend one in Seattle!
The Washington DC/Baltimore metro area would be excellent. I just can’t make it all the way to NYC in the middle of a work week. :-)
How about Birmingham or Atlanta?
By any chance, Toronto, Ontario, Canada?
Columbus Ohio or webinar
what about Boca Raton or Boynton Beach, Florida?
Please come to SLC!! (Or I like the Denver idea, I would definitely make the trip!) Or Seattle, I go there all the time!! :)
Come to Raleigh!
And there is a large following in the San Diego area. We would like a workshop here as well!
I’m like everyone else. How about one in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area? I would also attend one in Houston.
I agree with Lynn. Birmingham or Atlanta would be awesome!!
I support Houston, TX. Will be there and know many that also will join!
Great information.
