Welcome to yet another camera Thursday show-and-tell day here on the Blurberati blog. So far we’ve shown an eclectic range of cameras, from a 1940s Contax 35 mm to a 2011 Olympus mirrorless, with still many more in the bag. Here’s today’s camera-toting Blurb employee (and the camera he loves):
Name: Dave
Job: Senior Executive Doctor Code Monkey
Camera: Canon 1000D/Kiss
The Canon 1000D/Kiss F/Rebel XS (depending on country) is my favorite camera because it’s the first digital SLR I’ve ever had and it takes pretty nice pictures. I’m sure the things I like about it are present in most digital SLRs but they’re all new and exciting to me :) Changeable lenses, wide apertures, small depth of field, good low light performance and
lots of control when I want it.
And here’s a pic:
Next Thursday we’re going to showcase a camera that has absolutely none of the fine features that Dave’s camera has (but we think you’ll like it all the same). Until then, follow us, blurb_books, on Instagram, or check out our feed on Statigram.

Sweet! Isn’t that the girl from glee?
That place looks so much like Coney Island in Brooklyn, N.Y. Nice picture. I like the way it looks so far out. :-)
