It’s time for Camerathursdays, our weekly excuse to show off the cameras we love. We’ve shown off one instant camera already, Maggie’s Polardoid OneStep. Today we bring you a more contemporary take on the technology.
Camera: Fujifilm Instax 210
Employee: Jeoffrey
Job: Customer Support Team Leader
“This camera joined my collection in 2011. This is a Fujifilm Instax 210. Programmed electronic shutter, 1/64-1/200 sec. Automatic flash for low-light shooting. This is an old style camera with today’s technology so it makes it really easy to use and always offers an excellent result.
Almost like a Blurb book, this camera allows you to share photos with your friends and family. What makes this camera attractive is probably its design that comes straight from the ’90s, even if it was built recently by Fujifilm. The colour visible on the films are warm and gives you this aged feeling that we are all looking for through applications like Instagram. That’s why sometimes I love to compare this camera to Instagram: aged photos, ready to be shared.
Please be warned: this camera knows how to make you fall in love… Nobody can resist its design and its highly shareable instant photos. I grantee you that all your friends who see this camera during a party will buy one. This is what happened with a few of my friends recently, this is really a cool camera! By reading this, I’m pretty sure that you are already considering buying one, don’t you?”
Here’re the pics:
Next week we’ll be back with something a little more old school from our corner of camera-nerd heaven. In the meantime, check out our other Camerathursday posts and follow blurb_books on Instagram for more camera love.
