Maybe it’s the onset of winter (or summer depending on which side of the equator you call home). Maybe we just love travel. Whatever the reason, we couldn’t help but smile when we saw J’s Trip to India, a book made with our new Facebook photo book tool.
Full disclosure here: Jeannette works at Blurb. She takes some pretty cool trips and when we launched our Facebook photo book tool, she was one of the first to jump in and try it out.
Nice job, Jeannette! Her book makes the most of the medium with a running list of all her Facebook comments and a great chronological visual journey drawn from her Facebook album.
Jeannette says it was easy to make and that with the exception of adding some captions and editing the images from hundreds to about 90, the Blurb Facebook tool did most of the work.
“It only took a few minutes to import the photos,” she said. “The book was pretty much already made since I had it all in Facebook.” Jeannette also said that she loves having the book of photos in her offline world. “I keep it on the coffee table and friends pick it up when they stop by. It’s been awhile since I took the trip and the book is a great way to keep the memories alive.”
Jeannette ordered two copies of the book, one for herself and one to give to Preeti, her travel buddy. She plans on surprising Preeti with the book at Christmas, so please don’t tell her.
See how you can make your own Facebook photo book and capture some memories of your own.
