Nothing says “Power User” like using keyboard shortcuts. We just posted a new FAQ that lists all of BookSmart’s shortcuts for Mac and PC users. Here are a few to get you going:

Shortcut = Undo

• Mac Command: command+z
• PC Command: ctrl+z

Shortcut = Zoom in

• Mac Command: command+=
• PC Command: ctrl+=

Shortcut = Zoom out

• Mac Command: command+-
• PC Command: ctrl+-

Shortcut = View pages as thumbnails

• Mac Command: command+3
• PC Command: ctrl+3

Shortcut = Bold text

• Mac Command: command+b
• PC Command: ctrl+b

Shortcut = Preview book

• Mac Command: command+alt+p
• PC Command: ctrl+alt+p

There are a lot more where these came from, so you might want to bookmark the FAQ until you have all the shortcuts memorized.

  3. Hi Charlene,

    If you crash every single time you use this shortcut, please contact Technical Support. Also, don’t forget to fill out the crash report that shows up on your screen. Your specific book might be causing these crashes or another issue might. Lots of people can use this shortcut without complaint, so we need your help so we can remedy this problem.

    Hope this helps.
