A small, but powerful enhancement snuck its way into the most recent release of Blurb BookSmart. Now you can easily select multiple pages in your book and move, delete, or apply a background to a block of pages. Previously you had to do this one page at a time, so I wanted to write up a quick post for those who haven’t discovered this time-saving gem on their own.

Here’s how to select multiple pages:

  1. Begin by selecting a single page by clicking on a page thumbnail at the bottom of the BookSmart interface.
  2. Next “SHIFT-Click” to select a contiguous group of pages, or “CTRL-Click” (APPLE-Click on Macs) to select non-contiguous pages, or select all pages in the book by pressing CTRL-A (APPLE-A on Macs).

Once these pages are selected, you can change the background color, drag-and-drop the pages to a new location in the book, or even delete the pages. There you have it. The easiest way to edit and move a lot of pages at once.
