This ingenious sculpture of an SLR camera was crafted by California artist Kiel Johnson from nothing more than cardboard, tape, and glue. Johnson’s detailed representations of point-and-shoot, Polaroid and twin-lens cameras have a vintage do-it-yourself sensibility – his work makes us think about the tension between our love affair with sleek gadgets and our longing for things that are handcrafted on a more human scale.
