Eduardo Angel (pictured in icon form at right) is a Lightroom guru, a guy who knows Adobe’s photo editing and management tool inside and out. He’s also a photographer, consultant, and instructor. He blogs regularly about technology, photography, and cinema, providing tips, tricks, and insights. He recently had some cool things to say about the Blurb integration in Lightroom 4 that we’re proud to share:
Custom Book Layout is such a major addition to Adobe Lighroom 4 that it deserved its own module. I can now share my most recent work as a printed photo portfolio, give my images as a present, and surprise my clients with a giveaway they will appreciate and keep.
The process is really intuitive. Lightroom 4 includes over 180 professionally designed page layouts. I simply drag and drop images to reorder pages or swap image locations, and then order my photos books with the built-in Blurb plug-in.
I can’t imagine a simpler and more powerful way to market, and sell, my photographs.
Those in New York, where Angel is based, should keep an eye out for his seminars, including two seminars in August, one covering all of Lightroom 4′s new features, and on specifically covering the Book module.
And while we’re on the subject of Lightroom 4 gurus, check out a video from Jerry Courvoisier, on the new bookmaking awesomeness:
