When Cees J. Quirijns wanted to learn the secrets behind successful start-ups, he went to the source, or in this case, several sources. Quirijns interviewed 15 entrepreneurs, including Blurb’s own CEO and founder Eileen Gittins.

Eileen, and several other serial entrepreneurs – including Naeem Zafar (www.startup-advisor.com), Sudha Valluru (www.vivu.tv), and Warner Phillips (www.tendris.com) – share their insights, stories, and advice in Quirijn’s book Startup Best Practices: Conversations with Silicon Valley Entrepreneurs. And no surprise to the Blurberati, Eileen’s chapter is entitled, “Passion.”

As Quirijns points out, the book’s value is “not only in the commonalities shared, but even more so in the individual eye-openers that these successful entrepreneurs so gracefully share.”

You can buy the book at Blurb or download it for free here if you’re a budding entrepreneur or just want to know how they click.

  1. How do I delete pictures from the book, leaving a blank black page and the pictures deleted not be counted in the total number of pages in the
book. Example: If there are 120 photos in a book and 20 pictures have been deleted but left a blank black page in the book. How do I get rid of the 20 black vacent pages leaving a total count of 120 pages with photos.
