Cheetah Enter to Win a Photo Safari in South Africa

Jambo, Blurbarians! Ready for an adventure? We’ve teamed up with our friends at Nik Software to bring you a chance at an amazing 10-day South African photo safari. The great John Paul Caponigro will be your guide to capturing beautiful images in the famed Sabi Sand Game Reserve and regions around Cape Town. Picture wondrous locations, fantastic accommodations, and the finest wildlife viewing in Africa.

The South Africa Photo Safari Sweepstakes is open to residents of the U.S. or Canada, and it’s easy to enter: just register online by January 31, 2011, or fill out your “passport” at the 2011 Imaging USA trade show. There are plenty of other primo prizes, including a $300 Blurb gift certificate. We can’t wait to see how that book turns out.

Kila la kheri!*

  1. Photo Safari is the only hunting that people should practice.

It´s very healthy, because you have to do a lot of exercise. One day you run to make a picture… And next day have to run again to show a photo to an animal that you have at it.

    Have fun!

  4. Do we have to have our own gear and know much about photography to enter? I’d love to enter but just have a normal digital camera nothing with all the extra equipment.

  5. Hi there,

Our apologies for not making this crystal clear – the South Africa Photo Sweepstakes is valid in Canada and the U.S. only. So if you’re a resident of the U.S. or Canada, you’re welcome to enter no matter what kind of camera you’re packing. The grand-prize winner will also be awarded some excellent camera gear, so they’ll be well-equipped for the trip!

  6. The photo above is that of a leopard and NOT a cheetah. It is a fine photo by the way!

  7. Hi Piet,
Thanks for pointing out our mistake – as the old saying goes, a leopard can’t change its spots, much less transform into a cheetah!
