  4. Hi Eileen,

Thanks for the swatch kit, it’s a must-have for better insight into what you’re ordering!

I was surprised however that the standard paper itself is a bit warmer in tone (“more yellowish”) in the swatch kit than it is in the printed books I’ve ordered.

    Hi Merry,

I ordered it for 6,50 euro + 0,39 euro taxes, there were no shipping costs (Europe). The samples are 12 x 17 cm sheets. I received a voucher code for the 6,50 euro valid for about 50 weeks (almost a year, that is).

    Best regards,

  5. Hi Eileen,

One thing I forgot to add in my previous comment: a very nice and useful touch would be to have the images from the swatch kit available for download, i.e. the images as they were used for printing.

This would allow to find out exactly where the black and white points are in the image, and as such better assess the effect on shadow and highlight regions in the resulting prints.

    Best regards,

  7. I agree with David!

Having the images used for printing available for download is more of a necessity than a nice to have. It wil definitely help in understanding the color reproducation capabilites and contrast levels on the different paper types.

I think this is especially true for people who is considering Blurb for the first time, like myself.

  8. I agree with both David and Jaco.

It is really necessary to know how the prints looks in the screen for comparison.

Looking forward for the option to download the sample images!

  9. Hi Marco,
Our agreement with the photographers for those images does not allow us to make the images available for download. I’m sure you understand — it’s a licensing thing. If you have further questions about our paper, please don’t hesitate to contact our Customer Service team. They can answer your questions and give you more information.

  11. Hey Marian,

I’ll have to see why that is. In the meantime, you can order it from our ProLine page. You’ll find a purchase link under the “Beautiful paper” section.
