Picking a font for your book can be fun, but what if you just created your own type the way Croatian artist and designer Vladimir Koncar does? Gummi bears, daffodils, half-smoked cigarettes, clover, toothpicks, and cactus are just a few of the objects he uses to assemble entire alphabets.
Koncar calls this artistic pastime his personal typographic diary, an experiment he started in 2007. We love the thoughts he writes with each type style, too. You can see Hairvetica and more at his website, www.koncar.info.

Ours too. What’s your favorite font?
