GalleyCat’s Ron Hogan wonders if “all this talk of the swan song of the newspaper book section and its irrelevance to popular fiction” will impact the way people add books to their to-read lists.
Check out his poll What’s the most likey way a book gets on your to-read list? to see what people are thinking.
So far, the two answers “Someone I know recommended it” and “I read about it in a newspaper (print or online)” are taking the lead. I guess newspapers still have an impact no matter what people are saying.
Maybe in the future, one of the choices will be “I saw it on Blurb.com!”
The poll runs through Tuesday so cast your vote soon.
