So, what do you get when you send 300 disposable film cameras out into the world with the following instructions?
1. Take a pic of something that inspires you.
2. Pass the camera on to someone you trust.
3. If you’re last, mail it back.
As of this posting, the founders of Berkeley-based Common Camera are not quite sure what they’ll get. The venture is so new that all 300 cameras are still out there circling the globe.
If a Common Cam comes into your hands, you can check in on the site, say who and where you are, and get your location tracked on the Common Cam map. With cameras in places like Brazil, Kenya, Thailand, Europe, and all over the U.S., it’s a fascinating look at how an analog object can go viral. And we’re looking forward to seeing how those pictures turn out, too,
Sounds like a great candidate for a Blurb book.

This sounds very similar to the Disposable Memory Project. They have over three hundred cameras going around the world right now too.
