What does Blurb have in common with Applian Techologies, Nokia, Rollyo, and Bim? According to Lydia Loizides in a Media Technology Futures article, Blurb is one of many technologies taking “the art of consolidation to a whole new level.”
Blurb — A company that has developed a software application and an online community for the aspiring author in all of us. Using state-of-the-art publishing software, authors are able to share their books with friends and family.
We certainly plan to take consolidation to the next level very soon. A new version of BookSmart with an improved font engine will be available within days, and our upcoming site revamp will offer book management improvements and a better shopping experience. These improvements to our “combined parts” will make for an even stronger platform.
