MFA candidates spend months fretting over their MFA thesis shows–not just what pieces to include, but which frames to use, who to invite, how many appetizers to serve. And then, before you can say “pass the two-buck Chuck,” the party’s over and the exhibition packed up.
Painter Matthew Ballou had a better idea. He made a Blurb book out of his 2005 thesis exhibition at Indiana University Bloomington. Now Dispensation can be enjoyed by a larger audience for a long time to come.
