Just this week I was discussing with folks I know that I love the Blurb bookstore concept. i showed it off at a meeting I was attending. I'm nearing completion of my own book to submit, but the one feature that would make this the "killer app" for photographers would be the ability to post your book to the bookstore and set your own price, keeping the "overage" as profit.

Am I reading this correctly as to hear that feature will be available soon?

Fingers crossed,

-Chris

[...] Definitely hit up Nicholas for book marketing tips – he’s already up to 73 orders, and his book won’t be released until December. Personally, I’m hoping someone asks Nicholas to explain what exactly went on at the “storied psychedelic ditch party” he casually mentions on his Web site … or at least as much as he can tell without incriminating his neighbors.
Please take note that I\'ve changed the date of the inaugural book signing event from Dec. 2 to Dec. 9 at 3 PM at Gallery Bookshop, corner of Main and Kasten Sts., Mendocino, California.

I\'ve been frequently updating my website book page (see link) and adding more sample photos from the book, which are now on their own separate page.

Advance orders are up to 73 books for my signed and numbered limited first printing of 200 copies. If it keeps on like this, I will have to increase the number in my first order so there will be enough for the bookstore event and for gift sales through December. The book goes to press Nov. 15, and I can hardly wait!

I\'ll be a radio guest on the Point & Click computer talk program on KZYX-FM, Philo, California, on Wednesday, Nov. 8 from 7-8 PM. I\'ll be talking about my experience making my book with Blurb\'s BookSmart. Blurb CEO Eileen Gittins has tentatively agreed to be on the same show as a telephone guest. All you Blurbarians and Blurberati are welcome to listen in online at http://www.kzyx.org and to phone in with your questions and comments for me or Eileen. Should be a blast!

Nicholas - Oops on our part. The link to your spoof bookstore page has been removed. I guess we jumped the gun. Obviously we can't wait to see your book live in the bookstore come early December. Keep us posted!
