Maira Kalman, the wife of Tibor (one of my all-time favorite graphic designers) and a brilliant artist and author, crafts a monthly column in the NY Times. Her latest piece went up today. Every single one of her columns is beautiful and touching, truly inspirational. Even when discussing sad things, I always finish reading feeling like she has reaffirmed how beautiful life can be. I love these columns so much that I am terrified that one day they will disappear.
