Book of the Week has been to Iraq and back again

Is there a way to mention Iraq without it being politically charged? I’m not sure. This Book of the Week has been to war. There’s nothing delicate, safe, light, or quippy about it. The book’s editor, LTC V.J. Tedesco III, is in the U.S. military and he documented his experience in photos. This book really places you there and, although I don’t know V.J. personally, I found myself grateful that he lived to make a book about it.
