Swiss Peeks Issue Two, The Red Makes It wins you over with every single photograph. The sample spread above does not do this book justice. Make sure you view the Book Preview in two-page spreads to get the full effect; the editors achieved an impeccable balance of color across spreads, combining photos that go together in striking and clever ways. It’s simply wunderschön.
This is one of the best collectively produced books I’ve seen. It’s also a mashup of everything I write about for Blurb: community, the power of creating something physical with digital content, Flickr, collaboration, and of course, exceptional photographs from amateurs and professionals.
Congratulations to all of the contributors who worked on this Book of the Week. No wonder Flickr blogged about it when mentioning Photography.Book.Now.
