Color Coordinated Books by Chotda

Some of you may have noticed the growing trend of organizing your books on your shelves by color, versus by height, title or genre. It’s a great way to add blocks of color to your living or working space without actually having to paint or buy anything new, and can bring attention to books you may have forgotten about.

Color coordinating your shelves is simple – create stacks of books based on color and ordered based on hue. For example, line up pale orange books next to dark orange books transitioning to red books. For those old books you find and wonder why you ever kept them, donate them to your local school or library.
