“34 homes, 23 years” by Jane Sullivan is a simple, yet heartfelt look back at the 34 homes she has lived in during the last 23 years of her life. Jane returned to the homes she once occupied to photograph for the book, and each shot is accompanied by a basic narrative of an event that took place during her time there.
The still frames and text are as brief as Sullivan’s time in each location - a prime example of when simplicity really goes a long way. And for those of you who were wondering, that’s 1.4 houses per year, which means if she keeps moving at that same pace till she is 50, Jane will have lived in 73 different homes!

I have just seen Jane Sullivan’s book ‘34 houses, 23 years.’ What a clever idea. Why this subject? It is very different but very interesting. Does she live in New Zealand or Australia? Does she have an e-mail address or would you please pass mine on to her. Thank you.
Great Concept
Hey wow! I didn’t even know that this was up here just found it randomly.
My email address is janesphotos@yahoo.com and I am from New Zealand, although 3 of the houses in the book are in Australia.
Thanks
Jane
