We love it when we have the opportunity to give something back, and it’s even better when we can work with our favorite people and brands to make it happen. We’re proud to participate in Microsoft’s 2009 Giving Campaign this October, benefiting United Way. It’s a very cool program, and we wanted to share a little bit about how it works and Blurb’s role this year.
The Microsoft Photography Club published a Blurb book of fine art photography, Photographers@Microsoft 2009, for the 2009 Microsoft Giving Campaign. More than 200 photographers at Microsoft gave their time, talent and photography to make this book a reality.
Not only does this book make a wonderful addition to any collection and a thoughtful gift, but each copy purchased contributes directly to the ongoing, important work of United Way. For each book purchased, $25 will go directly to United Way (Microsoft will match any employee purchase by donating an additional $25).

The photography in the book is spectacular - this is truly an incredible collection. we’re thrilled to have helped make this project a reality for Microsoft and United Way. The 2009 Giving Campaign officially launches today, October 1. You can purchase the book in the Blurb Bookstore here.

Its a really awesome book. I am glad that I contributed in it!
It’s really great to see people and companies like Blurb and Microsoft coming together to do good works. There is so much need in the world right now and it’s great to see that folks who are successful don’t lose sight of that. The book is fantastic and it’s definitely worth the price completely aside from the charitable contribution. I bought two!
