The “right tool for the right job” attitude is a great way to go. That’s why we’re so happy to introduce our new online bookmaking tool, Blurb Bookify™.

Many of you are already familiar with our current bookmaking tools, Blurb BookSmart® and our PDF to Book workflow – both of which are great for a range of projects, especially more involved projects.

Now, with the addition of Bookify, you have a great option for simpler, more streamlined projects. So, if your goal is to make a beautiful photo book of up to 160 pages – in an afternoon or evening (or morning if you’re so inclined) – Bookify could be perfect for you. It shares the same high-quality printing and binding systems as our other bookmaking tools, and the ordering and delivery processes are as straightforward as ever.

We’d love for you to give Bookify a try. Check out some of Bookify’s highlights:
• A curated collection of our most popular layouts – or you can just drag and drop your photos and the page will design itself. Nice!
• Online portability – work on your book from more than one computer.
• Convenience – automatic upgrades so no downloads necessary.

Right now Bookify works with Flickr® and photos you’ve stored on your computer, but we’ll be rolling out more features and functionality in the coming months. We’re also continuing to improve BookSmart (check out the latest in this blog post) and the PDF to Book experience (more on that soon).

If you have a moment, check out the book above – it was made with Bookify by yours truly. Try Bookify for yourself and let us know what you think.

  1. I participated in the Beta version of Bookify and I just love it! It has a straight forward classic layout and some really nifty tools (for example: a color picker for custom background colors). It definitely is a streamlined approach to designing beautiful books – way to go Blurb!

  3. It would be great if Bookify and Storify could get together somehow. I still don’t have my Storify invitation (why do people feel it necessary to call them “invites”) but I can easily see the potential for integration. Unless, of course, Blurb could just license the Storify API.
