Bookmaking and innovating are important to us. So is community. Last week we made some changes that combined all three.
Sign in and you’ll experience My Blurb. (If you haven’t already.) This entirely new, personal dashboard pulls everything you care about into one place for easy access. Get info on current orders, recently uploaded books, book sales statistics, the latest BookSmart download, the most recent blog posts, and more. Now when you arrive at Blurb, you get what you need. It’s your very own bookmaking command center. It’s also where you can find your profile.
Trust us, your books are interesting and that makes you interesting. Fill out your profile and shed some light on what you’re into, what you read, and what you’re working on. Got a business? Create a business profile. Networking is never a bad thing for business. Seriously. Other Blurbarians want to know about you and the story behind your books. They want to know who shares similar interests. They want to connect. When you’re in the bookstore and you see an author’s username next to a book, click on the link to view the profile. Curious who’s out there right now? Look here. Or here. And post a link to your profile below. We’ll keep featuring them in future posts.
One last thing: Notice the new home page? Those are real Blurb authors proudly holding their books. And all the book samples you see, again, real Blurb books. We think this gives people a better sense of what we do. What do you think? Tell us your thoughts on all the changes, we welcome the feedback.
