It’s the start of summer at Blurb and we’re going on holiday

Memorial Day … the three-day weekend that marks the start of summer for those in the U.S. (And for you in the UK, enjoy your Spring Bank Holiday.) It’s also a teaser for a lot of kids still in school. To have to return to school for a few more weeks after a three-day weekend can be mind-numbingly brutal.

But enough about our long weekend. Blurb will be more or less closed on Monday. We’ll have some great people in Customer Support ready to answer your questions, but not the full staff that handles your questions Monday through Friday. They’ll try and do their best to get all of your questions answered, but if they don’t, you’ll definitely hear from them on Tuesday.

Our U.S. printers will also be closed, so please keep that in mind if you have books on a deadline.

What does Memorial Day mean for you? For me, it’s means a total of 22 driving hours in a truck with two dogs, my partner, and a visit to Utah. I hope my dogs find the room to their liking at the LaQuinta Inn.

  1. Also, Kathy, I’m sure at least a moment or two for a thought about those who lost their life in service to our country. Something we all need to remember more often on Memorial Day.
