Scan and send in those dusty photos hiding out in shoeboxes and attics and provide as much info as possible, i.e. geographic location and date. The folks at Google, who have partnered on this project with social change organization We Are What We Do, will put it on their digital map. The map even provides a present day image for a little “then and now” scenario. And once your photo is uploaded, others can search by location and take a little time trip themselves. Nice.
