Seems like Mother’s Day was only yesterday. Right, that’s because it was. Now we’ve got Memorial Day to look forward to, then we’re diving straight into June. That means Father’s Day, graduations, and summer vacations are fast approaching. Get your gifts and SPF 50 ready.

Father’s Day is June 17. If you need book ideas for the occasion, we found some in the Blurb Bookstore.

Cars? Sports memorabilia? Fishing lures? Alligator shaped salt and peppershakers from vacations in Florida? Why not make a photo book featuring the things your Dad loves and collects. Or if he has a sense of humor, make him a book of the things that drive him crazy. Just an idea.

His favorite food? Best advice? First time he ever…? Make a book of questions and give it to your dad to fill out. Include everything you’ve ever wanted to ask, but were too embarrassed to bring up in person. Now that’s going to be a great read.

Want to see an example of a tribute book for a father? Then preview, James I. Saurer ‘Dad’, You are so so so in trouble! I got choked up at the dedication. Or preview Growing Up Dobie for another great example.

Roadtrip together. All you need is a map and dad, and you’ve got a book in the making.

If you’ve got books planned for these occasions, don’t forget that once you submit your files and place an order, your book should arrive at its shipping destination within 7 to 10 days. (Longer outside of the U.S.)

Have some interesting book ideas for Father’s Day? What about a grad’s book? Let us know.
