Every year, since the age of 16, Ria van Dijk has visited a shooting gallery where she fires a gun, hits a target, and takes a shot – of herself, firing that gun. Ria is now 88 years old and she’s gathered the images into a book entitled “In Almost Every Picture.”
Take a look at the images. It’s a great photographic journey that chronicles her lifetime, the changes in photography throughout the years, and a peek at the times (there is a notable gap in photographs from 1939 – 1945). By the way, Ria still visits a shooting gallery every year and by all accounts, her aim is still true.
