Elizabeth Halford is a photographer based in Hampshire, England, who specializes in weddings and portraiture. As such, she needs to make books of her work. So she set out to compare the top contenders in the book printing space: Blurb, Apple, and Photobox. The latter won’t be familiar to US readers, but Halford says it’s pretty close to Snapfish.
Halford’s also a prolific blogger and tweeter, and she wrote up her bookmaking taste test in a blog post entitled Blurb vs Apple vs Photobox. It’s well worth reading, so we won’t give away too much here. But she does like us a lot (in fact, we come out on top), and spends a lot of time discussing our book making software, ease-of-use, ebook conversion features, and print quality.
It’s always great when people say nice things about you. But when they go to the trouble to do an in-depth, side-by-side comparison between you and the distinguished competition, it’s particularly gratifying.
