Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 has officially launched and we couldn’t be more proud to be a part of it. Now you can make Blurb books within Lightroom 4 – no plug-in download required, no need to use another tool to design your book. Since the Beta launched in January, over 1,000 Blurb books have been made with Lightroom 4. Below are just three of them, along with the words of the photographers who made them:

Jay Graham, Bella Notte Linens

“I loved making my book directly in Lightroom. It was so easy to switch between proofing and editing. Any changes that I needed to make to an image were just a click away. Never leaving the program you’ve gotten used to and use for everything from organizing and archiving your library to final output is awesome. Nice to be using just one piece of software. I am always blown away by the quality of Blurb books.”

“I like to keep things simple. That’s why I think it’s great that photographers can now stay in the Lightroom environment and create their own photo-centric books with Lightroom 4′s new book module. Adobe has partnered up with industry leader Blurb to print and distribute the finished book, and that makes things easier and simpler than ever.”

“As a longtime Adobe user, it’s dramatically improved my workflow to have access to bookmaking tools directly within Lightroom. Lightroom is the complete photography workflow – going from an original capture to a fully published book has single-handedly cut days off of our processing time! The ease of the book templates helps keep my branding consistent even though my images are constantly changing.”
