As 2012 draws to a close, we all begin to reflect on the year that was – the highs, the lows and what we can change or look forward to in 2013. All over the world it’s been one jam-packed year, our calendars have burst at the seams what with royal weddings, Olympics, presidential elections and more…
While we take time to catch our breath, our good friends over at Handpicked Media – a collective of some of the top UK sites and bloggers – have been busy documenting the best moments of 2012. To showcase their memories of the last 12 months, they’ve created a book with Blurb. Featuring contributions from over 60 publishers and bloggers, ‘This is my #HPMemory2012, what’s yours?’ is a snapshot of what they experienced. From meeting little babies, and exploring new cities to the year’s iconic London events – it’s a marvellous collection of reflections and memories capturing the mood of the nation in 2012 and how it was celebrated by those around us.
If this gets you thinking about all the photos you’ve taken over the past year, why not make your own photo book to capture the highlights that you can share with friends and family and cherish for years to come. I’m starting mine with my hilarious impressions of the Mo-bot. No, the Lightening Bolt. Oh but wait, before that was Wiggo’s sideburns. Hmmm, I might need to think about this a bit more.
‘This is my #HPMemory2012, what’s yours?’ is available as a printed book or ebook version from the Blurb Bookstore. 100% of all proceeds from the book will go direct to When You Wish Upon A Star, a charity that grants wishes for children living with life-threatening illnesses.
