We’re all about sharing stories at Blurb – and boy, do people have stories to tell. That’s why we’ve launched the “Nation of Storytellers”, a Blurb initiative taking place in the U.K.
With the “Nation of Storytellers” we hope to encourage people to tell us their stories so that we can help protect them for the future. We’ve already seen some of you do it. Remember Me is a Blurb book and a beautiful tribute to the life of the author’s grandfather, who suffered from Alzheimers. We’d love to see more of these stories. And we want to make a special book out of them.
So we’re asking U.K.-based Blurbarians to visit www.nationofstorytellers.com and submit a short synopsis of their story. Once entries close on Thursday, 31 May 2012, our judging panel will select 20 of the most inspiring stories to be included in a limited edition book. The winners will each be given the opportunity to work with a professional writer to finish their story, have their picture taken by a professional photographer, receive five copies of the final collection of stories to share with family and friends, and receive a Blurb voucher worth £250. How good is that?
If you, your family, friends, neighbours, or anyone else you know has a story to tell, we would love to hear it.
