We had a rare April warm spell this past weekend. Things are heating up in San Francisco and at Blurb. Feels like a good day for a round-up.
We landed in the April issue of O: The Oprah Magazine. The term behemoth doesn’t even come close to describing Oprah. (Is there a term that does?) Over 2.4 million people subscribe to her magazine and that doesn’t include issues on newsstands.

Blurb was also mentioned in WIRED Magazine’s April issue in an article on the Top 10 Business Trends of 2008. We’re in the segment on the rise of the instapreneur.
Vator TV recently interviewed Eileen and some of the Blurberati. And following SXSW, the Mac Observer covered us in an interesting podcast. We’re a few minutes in, if you want to have a listen.
We also showed up in April’s Popular Photography. Kathleen Davis included Blurb in a column about making money from your photos.

Photography.Book.Now is also getting a lot of attention. Here are just a few of the 40+ media and blog hits it has received in a few short weeks: American Photo, JPG Magazine, MattBites, Boodatude, Photopreneur, I spy with my little creative eye, PhotoShelter, and Juxtapoz.
We’ll let you know where we land in May. Who knows, we may have good Webby news by then.

I can’t find the blurb article in oprah
Hi Blaine. We are in the April print issue. It’s the section called “Live Your Best Life” and we’re listed under: If you have only an hour or two.
If you look closely at the graphic I included of O’s cover, you’ll see the mention was actually scanned on top of the cover I posted.
