The entries are in and to put it simply, the work is amazing. With over 2,000 Photography.Book.Now submissions, our judges are cranking as we come into the home stretch. We announce the winners on September 10th, but we want to give all of you a chance to voice your opinion too.

So, we’ve added an additional award – the People’s Choice Award – so you have a chance to let the world know who you think is the best of the best. Voting is open through September 10th, and the clock is ticking, so get moving!

Here’s how it works.

You can vote for one book, and one book only. Just go to the Photography.Book.Now bookstore to see all the work, then click on the voting button under your favorite book. (The button’s big and orange, should be pretty easy to spot.) Want to stack the deck for your top choice? We have some tools to make it easy for you to spread the word. You can download an image to forward along in emails, or grab a People’s Choice voting badge for your website or blog by clicking here to save the file.

Once you cast your vote, you can also send a note directly from the bookstore to bring your people right back to your top choice.

The winner of the People’s Choice Award will be announced at the Awards Ceremony in San Francicsco on September 19th. Pick up your tickets here. Oh, and the prize? We’re keeping that one a secret. After all, who doesn’t love a little surprise?

  1. This is a great idea…
Hopefully plenty of people will be signing up to vote. I would love you to take a peek at my book if you have the time. I’m very interested in hearing what Blurb’s folks have to say about it as it took me a few months to put together. Thanks for the time. Best, Amy

  2. There was some confusion when I entered my book originally—that caused the wrong version of the same book to be counted as my submission. I spoke with someone early on but now that I see which book is being voted for, I also see that it is the earlier version. Can this be fixed?

  3. Hi,
I like the idea, but then you have to randomly rotate the pages on whith the books are featured. My guess is that now the chosen book will be within the first 5 pages or so… nobody will flip through all the pages.

  5. Hey guys, preview is 15 pages so you’ll have to make your voting decision based on what you can see. Good luck!

  7. There are rather a lot to wade through, I’ve been looking for my book for ages and only found it after viewing 1500 book covers! Let’s hope voters can find it!

  8. Our book, “Cameras at Breakfast” is a very intimate project. Although you can only view the first 15 pages online, it does include some compelling photos, and our full introduction text can be read (if zoomed to full screen). Take a look, and feel free to send us any feedback or questions you may have.

  9. I second Saskia’s comment… I couldn’t even find my own book until gave up and used the search.

  11. I just went to vote for my friends book “Drive by Carol Schiralidi” and there is no voting button to vote for it with. I know it was entered into the Photography Book Now contest. I then also went and checked my book “Wheat” that was entered in the Photography Book Now contest and it does not have a voting button either. I then went into the Photography Book Now bookstore and selected a book. It did have a voting button. I then thought maybe I have to pull it up from the Photo Now Bookstore, so I tried finding the same book with the button by doing a search on the author’s name. I pulled it up and that book did have a voting button.
