Skeleton Dog by Tim Flach Release the Hounds

Here’s some pure Friday fun from U.K. photographer Tim Flach. We love the way he captures that unfettered canine spirit in these totally cool images from his new book, “Dogs Gods.”

Sometimes he pulls in close – on a prize-winning English bulldog’s rear end, for instance (tell us we’re not the only ones who see a face…). He stands back for a group portrait of Siberian huskies that reminds us of the wolf in every dog. Then there’s the wild shot of a dreadlocked Hungarian Puli bounding towards the camera.

If you like these as much as we do, be sure to check out Flach’s equally awesome images of horses in his book “Equus.” And a big thanks to The Coolist for pointing the way to Flach’s terrific work, too.
