It’s not often that we talk about non-Blurb books on this blog. Not that we have anything against them, it’s just we really love our own books (and for good reason). But today we’re more than happy to take time to announce the imminent launch of Resilience: Why Things Bounce Back by Andrew Zolli, president of PopTech and a good friend of Blurb’s.

Written with Ann Marie Healy, the book explores why some people, companies, communities, and systems can really rock it when everything falls apart, and why some just cannot. Zolli and Healy blend science, social observation, and clever analysis to explain what true resilience can mean for you, personally and on the job. Here’s a trailer for this important book:

Zolli came to talk with us at Blurb a few months back and discussed his ideas – he’s an incredible speaker and storyteller. In fact, only Zolli can connect subjects as diverse as coral reefs, Buddhist monks, Al Qaida, tuberculosis, and the world financial system so elegantly.

Resilience will appear at bookstores everywhere on July 10 as a printed book and an ebook. You can preorder a copy on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or other sites. Enjoy!
