Our last color management webinar was such a hit that we’re going to keep the party going. Sign up now for our June 24 webinar on Adobe® Lightroom® to Blurb BookSmart®, Great Photo Color from Capture to Final Book. Like the last webinar series, it’s free to all. Space is limited, so sign up early.

Two Sessions are available:
Thursday, June 24, 2010 1:00 p.m. EDT (10 a.m. PDT / 6 p.m. GMT)

Thursday, June 24, 2010 3:00 p.m. EDT (12 p.m. PDT / 8 p.m. GMT)

Here are the details:
Join us as we create a photo book from scratch using the latest Blurb BookSmart software with color-calibrated images from Adobe Lightroom.

We’ll start by getting the best possible color right at capture with the X-Rite ColorChecker Passport, as we custom white balance our camera and create a custom camera profile for use in Lightroom.

We’ll show you how to take the color-corrected images and produce a book layout using BookSmart. When complete, we’ll submit our book to Blurb to get back a beautiful photo book with images that have the best color possible. If you’re looking to harness the full power of Lightroom and Blurb BookSmart, this will be time well spent.

By the way, we’ve posted our May 26 color management webinar on our site. You’ll find it on our Tips and Tutorials page.

Hope to “see” you at the next webinar!

  1. Hi Guys,

do you have a youtube link or something similar where we can view the May 25 and May 26 webinars videos??? I unfortunately missed it all coz I calculated the time conversions wrongly (I’m in melbourne).

I have two books to produce and strongly wish to learn how to properly do it using Photoshop and InDesign.

    Thank you.

  4. Hi Craig,
Absolutely. It usually takes about a week. Sorry about the timing. It’s tough to find a time that works with the entire world, but rest assured we’ll post the webinar on our site as soon as possible. Keep checking in on the blog. We’ll write a post and let you know when the webinar goes live on our Tips and Tutorials page.
    best,
    Eileen
