What’s the coolest thing we’ve seen lately? This fully functioning wet plate camera that prints photos the size of a thumbnail. It looks like dollhouse furniture, but it really does work. Wet plate photography is old tech, dating back to the Victorian period.

Now, if he could combine this with a wireless telegraph, we’d have a retro-futurist camera phone in the making.

  1. Nice to see old tech as well as new. Like your web site -I can’t see your books with my browser. Kit’s time you switched from Flash to HTML5.

Feedback noted. Naturally, we want to keep pace with where people are. We’ll see what the new year brings.
