Before we take off for SXSW and SPE, here are some things we had to share. Some are news hits, some are shout outs, and one is pure Moo love.

Businessweek featured a how-to piece subtitled “Your plan is to generate buzz for your business with your new book. Here’s how to sell it on the Web.” There’s some valuable information in it, including tips on getting ISBN numbers and working with wholesale book distributors.

Photographer and Blurb author, Todd Pierson, received a write up in The Beacon News about his book, Children of Haiti: The Beauty and Poverty Within. Todd and co-author, Meghan Cahill, will donate all of the proceeds from the book sales to the construction of schools and a medical center in a very rural and overlooked part of Haiti.

The news of our international Set Your Price program has taken off. Bloggers are covering it in the UK. In Italy, Libero News covered it. We’ve seen pieces coming in from Spain and Holland too.

Michael Musto of the Village Voice, raved about Olan Montgomery’s art and showed his Blurb book in a blog post. Check out Olan’s book, POP, Art inspired by New York’s own subcultures from celebrity to subway in the Blurb Bookstore.

Hint, hint: One of our favorite Web sites, Moo, just launched an egg hunt. Find eggs and get in on some serious prizes. (Yes, that includes Blurb prizes.) You never know *ahem* where one of the eggs might show up.

That’s it for now. Next week we’ll report from the South by Southwest interactive show. If you’re in Austin, find us. We want to meet you.
