While most of our time has been spent reading through the Blurb Forums, we did manage to find some other interesting items we’d like to share. Let the Monday morning round-up commence…

Professional Wedding Photographers: Up for a challenge? Are you a member of PWP? Do you know about this organization? PWP describes itself as “dedicated to supporting professional and aspiring professional photographers through our online community, live seminars, networking events, and other resources.” Blurb is sponsoring their next photography contest. Might be a nice opportunity for some of our Blurbarian photographers out there.

Make friends with booklovers at Goodreads. First we mentioned Librarything. Now we see that Goodreads offers something similar in the social networking/book reading space, but with a slicker interface. Check Goodreads out if you’re interested in bonding with friends over books and sharing reviews.

Own any first editions? Some can make you wealthy. London’s The Sunday Times reports that modern first editions can generate significant sums of money. Read what collectors are looking for and how much some first editions are worth. Ian Flemming, Beatrix Potter, and JK Rowling are just a few of the authors mentioned.

What news stories or Web sites have you been into lately? Tell us about them below.
