Where there are authors of all types–whether they may be bloggers, photographers, artists, essayists–Blurb has become the top-of-mind company for self-publishing. Those that frequent the Blurberati Blog know that already this year we’ve been traveling around the US to meet our users up close and personal as we continue to evolve the Blurb experience. This week I find myself at the London Book Fair, meeting up with some of our European Blurbarians and laying the groundwork as we aim to expand our offering across the Atlantic.
Besides engaging in the national sport of Britain…no not football, queuing!…it’s been great to be literally immersed in all things book here at the show. In future years it will be great to see books that begun as self-published projects take center stage at events like LBF.
This show is just a reminder of the power of the printed page and the value of technology to enable entry into the book marketplace a reality for everyone.
