Welcome to the second in our series of spotlights on the story behind the story. Rebecca Kee, aka Ms. Kee, and her incredible second graders, are full-fledged Blurbarians who kids photo books every year.
The kids write the stories, go through the draft process, and learn some grammar along the way. Come June, they each get their own published Blurb book – a compilation of the class stories and photos from throughout the year – and the class throws a rocking book release party (juice boxes for all!). The big pay-off? Rebecca gets a great way to help motivate the kids improve their writing skills. Sounds like a win-win to us. Check out our video, take a look at their book, and see for yourself.

Rebecca, Your classroom experiences are always an inspiration. I am sure that you will be missed, as you are an excellent teacher.
