Ever wanted to go back to the future? Argentinian photographer Irina Werning’s present-day recreations of old photos took us there. Along the way they made us laugh, and inspired us to ponder how we change over time – and how we don’t.
Werning works with her subjects to replicate every detail of these baby photos, school portraits, and family photos, from the clothing (or lack thereof) to accessories, postures, and, best of all, facial expressions.
