Blurb HQ has been hopping this week. In between the daily treks between our offices and Macworld, and the release of our Set Your Price program, the word about Blurb is spreading. Here are some of the week’s highlights:
Eileen hit the podcast airwaves again, and “… [shared] her passion for enabling technologies that take business outside the box” over at the The Advertising Show.
Over at Cnet, Eileen is quoted as “ … democratizing publishing for every man [and woman].” The article, Self-publishing made easy online, accompanied by several photos of Blurb books, did a nice job evaluating our new Set Your Price program.
USA Today’s “Giant TVs, Elvis star at tech show” also singles out Blurb:
Calling all authors
Blurb.com lets you self-publish a book and sell it online for a profit, for as little as $18.95. Similar to the photobooks from e-tailers such as Shutterfly and Kodak Gallery, these have room for lots of text in addition to photos, to appeal to cookbook writers, real estate agents and architecture students.
Finallly, thanks to the thousands of people who descended on our booth this week at Macworld. We enjoyed speaking to each and every one of you, and thanks to all those with great suggestions.
And a special thanks to funny guy Sinbad who came by to say hi. He loves Blurb and rumor has it one of his brothers is making a book. Could it be a Sinbad tell-all book?
To all of who came by the booth, get cracking on your books and let us know how they go.
Next: We’ll see you at Imaging USA starting Sunday.
